Where is the venue?

The Mantra Chatswood is positioned in the Chatswood

CBD, just off the Pacific Highway on Brown Street.

The hotel is only a 10 minute drive to North Sydney

or 20 minutes to the Sydney CBD, and an easy 2 minute

walk from Chatswood train station.

 

Is there parking?

Parking is available at the special conference rate of

$15/day. Entry is immediately next to the Mantra.

Just press the intercom and hotel staff will open the gate.

What is the cost?

Cheap as chips*.

*If chips cost $275 AUD. 

$275 for full day

(includes morning tea, lunch and afternoon tea)

Dr Jen is currently offering Puppy Classes at Doyalson Animal Hospital.

Classes are for puppies aged between 8 and 14 weeks of age.

Puppies will have the opportunity to socialise with other dogs and people, as well as pick up handy training tips and basic obedience. Training takes place using positive reinforcement, which will build a strong bond of trust between you and your puppy.

Client information sessions are a great way of sharing advice with your clients, and making them feel welcome in your practice. 

Dr Jen can visit your practice and speak to your clients about behavioural topics, chosen by your clinic. Suggestions include:

Cattification: How to create a cat-friendly home

  •     Ethology: what it means to be a cat

  •     Detailed description of appropriate resources – litter trays, scratching posts, provision of food and water,         appropriate resting places and viewing platforms

  •     In depth look at interpreting body language of dogs, with photos and feedback

  •     What ‘closely supervise’ actually means

  •     Teaching children how to behave around dogs

  •     Teaching dogs how to behave around children

Storm and noise phobia in dogs and cats

  • Signs of anxiety and fear in dogs and cats

  • Environmental management of storm phobia

  • Medication use for noise phobic pets
