Puppy Foundation Class for Businesses

This online course is designed for families with new puppies or dogs. It contains the following chapters:

• Reading puppy body language (and being able to detect early signs of anxiety or discomfort). This is a 3-video module with a quiz.

• Socialisation (how to socialise in a positive emotional state)

• Dominance and Dogmanship. This video examines why we no longer use dominance based methods and why we use positive reinforcement. 

• Timing and Reward markers. 

• Treats to use in training.

• House training and Setting up for Success (Toilet training, chewing and more). 

• Play

• Troubleshooting (using chewing shoes as an example)

More videos are regularly added!

When you subscribe as a business, you receive an business specific link and coupon code, that you can share (individually) with as many clients as you like. This will allow your clients to have one year's access to the puppy video course.

Increase the value of your classes or consultations:

Puppy owners can subscribe to the online videos themselves from the Puppy School Videos page. The cost is currently AUD$18 per individual. However, if you as a business subscribe, all of your puppy school clients will have one year's free access to the course. A one-year subscription as a businesses is AUD$220. (If you have 10 or more puppy owners in your classes per year, you've already got great value for money).

Short videos

People are busy, and puppy owners are no exception. Videos are 3-10 minutes in length, designed for people to fit in around their lifestyles. Captions are provided for people who are hard of hearing, or who want to watch their videos with no volume.

Complementary source of information

Selections of the same scientifically sound information that you'll find in The Puppy Manual is presented in a different format. More learning occurs when a person is presented with information that is repeated. Some people learn better by hearing information, or are more comfortable watching in video format. You can refer people to the videos before they start your classes, for example if they are having trouble with house training. You can set them as video homework. If someone misses a class, they can catch up with some of the information more easily. 

1.    Your business specific access code/link must be shared directly with individual clients, and may not be made available for access by the general public. You may not resell or sublicense access to the Puppy Foundations Class online course to any third party. 

2.    Puppy Foundations Class business subscriptions are valid for ONE YEAR from date of payment if paid annually, or one month if paid monthly. 

3.   Subscription Fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time after you are billed for the then-current period, and before you are billed for the next period,  by emailing Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes.

4.  Subscription Fee charges are subject to change. 

5. If you choose not to make another payment, you will no longer have access to the Puppy Foundations Class course.

We are confident that our material contains the most up-to-date positive reinforcment based methods available.  You may cancel your subscription at any time before the next renewal period, and continue to access the Video Course until the end of your subscription. If you have accidentally renewed your annual Puppy Foundations Class subscription and wish to stop instead, please contact Dr Jen within 30 days for a refund.

You may not make any part of the digital version of the document available for access by the general public.

3. You may not onsell any Pet Perspective products in any form, to any other third party, unless with express permission of the author.

4. Editing the written documents is encouraged, however in order to protect the integrity of the document, all edits to the The Puppy Manual must be approved by Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes. You may not edit or make additions to the document without permission.

POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

1. Pet Perspective maintains a force-free philosophy, using positive reinforcement methods to help pets and their people. When editing or utilising Pet Perspective products, behavioural advice must be in keeping with this philosophy. 

2. You will hold ongoing copyright permission to show the PowerPoint to your clients. You may use PowerPoint to create a video of you presenting the information, and distribute the video to your clients. You may not distribute the raw digital version of the PowerPoint, or its contents. You may not onsell the PowerPoint in any form, to any third party.

3. You do have permission to edit the PowerPoint yourself (limited to force free advice as per the first condition), as it’s important that the information matches your speaking style and preferences. You can change the order, or the style, rewrite the notes, and choose certain sections to show at different times through your course. If you need any help with PowerPoint edits, I am happy to assist.
