The Kitten Manual is a pdf document. The PRINT-ONLY version is 45 pages long. It is a comprehensive, up-to-date manual that gives your clients all the information they need to know! (It can be called The Cat Manual if you mainly work with adult cats.)

It contains sections on:

Reading kitten body language (and being able to detect early signs of anxiety or discomfort)

Socialisation (how this should be approached – not just ‘exposure’ but monitoring closely to ensure positive experiences)

Appropriate training methods (what is positive reinforcement, why we use it, and how to teach kittens)

Troubleshooting (common kitten behaviour problems and what to do about them)

It also discusses health care, carrier training, handling, how to use a reward marker, and setting kittens up for success.

All written materials are TAILORED to your business. That means you can read through and request any edits and I will make them for you (with the exception of recommending any methods which rely on force, fear, or pain, or that are otherwise unsupported by science or ethics). This tailoring process means that your written material suits you and your business perfectly.

Trust

If you are not happy with any product, or process, within 7 days of purchase, then we will refund 100% of the purchase price on the condition that you will cease any use of the product immediately and permanently delete all documents.

1. Pet Perspective maintains a force-free philosophy, using positive reinforcement methods to help pets and their people. When editing or utilising Pet Perspective products, behavioural advice must be in keeping with this philosophy.

2. a) PRINT-ONLY LICENSE: You will hold ongoing copyright permission to distribute printed copies of the entire document, or printed selections to use as handouts. You may not distribute the digital version of the manual, or its contents.

2. b) EXTENDED LICENSE: You will hold ongoing copyright permission to distribute both printed and/or digital copies of the entire document, or selections to use as handouts, to your own clients. You may share either via print OR electronically to individual clients (i.e. by email, private link, or dropbox invitation). You may not make any part of the digital version of the document available for access by the general public.

3. You may not onsell the manual in any form, to any other third party, unless with express permission of the author.

4. Editing the document is encouraged, however in order to protect the integrity of the document, all edits to the The Kitten Manual must be approved by Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes. You may not edit or make additions to the document without permission.
The Standard License version, is for printing and handing out to clients. Ongoing permission to distribute printed versions of the entire manual to your clients, or print off individual pages to use as behaviour handouts.

The Extended license version provides you with the same Standard license printable pdf, PLUS a pdf especially designed for digital distribution. This allows you to share the pdf electronically to individual clients (i.e. by email, private link, or dropbox invitation). (You may not post the Manual anywhere that it is accessible to the general public.)

The Extended License mobile friendly version has larger font size for reading on mobile devices. It contains hyperlinks to suggested books, YouTube videos and helpful websites. Naturally, this can include links to your website for various information specific to your business. The Manual mobile-friendly versions also contain navigation links, so people can find information fast.

ADVANTAGES OF THE EXTENDED LICENSE

All the great points of the Standard License, PLUS:

Send out the document as soon as a client has paid for enrolment (they don’t have to wait for your first session to receive all the good advice).

Some clients are more likely to read a document if it’s available on their device. Some are more likely to read printed documents. Make both options available and ensure to ensure more people read all the great advice.

PUPPY FOUNDATIONS CLASS ONLINE COURSE

1. Your business specific access code must be shared directly with individual clients, and may not be made available for access by the general public. You may not resell or sublicense access to the online course to any third party.

2. Puppy School Video course business subscriptions are valid for ONE YEAR from date of payment if paid annually, or one month if paid monthly.

3. Subscription Fees are non-refundable. You may cancel your subscription renewal at any time after you are billed for the then-current period, and before you are billed for the next period, by emailing Dr Jen Nesbitt-Hawes.

4. Subscription Fee charges are subject to change. You will be notified by email one month before your fee is due. If you choose not to make another payment, you will no longer have access to the Puppy School Video course.

POWERPOINT PRESENTATION

2. You will hold ongoing copyright permission to show the PowerPoint to your clients. You may use PowerPoint to create a video of you presenting the information, and distribute the video to your clients. You may not distribute the raw digital version of the PowerPoint, or its contents. You may not onsell the PowerPoint in any form, to any third party.

3. You do have permission to edit the PowerPoint yourself (limited to force free advice as per the first condition), as it’s important that the information matches your speaking style and preferences. You can change the order, or the style, rewrite the notes, and choose certain sections to show at different times through your course. If you need any help with PowerPoint edits, I am happy to assist.
